Craig Rickard comments about incorporation to the Montgomery County Tea Party.

Video #1:
Craig Rickard: "...and so as I heard more and more stories about things that were going on I realized that I was uh, I voted against incorporation, and I realized that there were a lot of, I was misinformed and lazy and just uh, there's a whole bunch of me's out there in The Woodlands, and so um I thought, uh, you know, let's make a run so I consulted with my wife, and she said go for it."

Video #2:
Interviewer: "Where do you think the township went wrong.. and maybe that's not the right... what do you think the township could have done better on their messaging to SELL, to sell this to the voters?"

Craig Rickard: "Incorporation?"

Interviewer: "yeah, incorporation, sorry, yeah"

Craig Rickard: "Uh, ah, I've been vocal and critical of the website, just in general, as a 20-year user, to get information, um, so, I don't think it's a website issue, but I think you can certainly look around at how they message to the residents, and it's not effective. So, I think, I mean that's probably, and that could be something I attack as my first project... it's just analyzing how people want to receive information. Um, me as the uninformed voter last year, what I heard was Gordy wants to be mayor, and they bought the $5M G.E. Betz building, and they're trying to put up city hall, and I don't even know where I'm getting that information from. It just got in my head. So, somehow, they're getting that message out in the public. So, I, I feel now, in September of 2022, it was rushed, and it wasn't marketed very well. I think the numbers are great, but, uh, I know, the impression I get is they wanted to give us federal funds, covid funds, and that is kind of what sped it up... so I think that, let's, two year term, I'm just out there spreading gospel."

Video #3:

Interviewer: "Do you think there will be another opportunity, and what would it take for this opportunity to come, to even have another vote for incorporation?"

Craig Rickard: "YES. I think it will happen. I think it probably, I think it needs to happen, it seems like it's the best decision at this point."
