Bob Kinnear

Bob Kinnear was born in 1943 in Beaumont, TX and received an engineering degree from Lamar State College of Tech in 1966. He worked for Gulf and Chevron for 32 years in pipeline transportation and retired from a Chevron Senior Management position in 1997.

Kinnear served on The Woodlands Town Center Improvement District Board from 1996 to 2010. He was Chairman of the Board for 2 years, Interim President for 8 months, and served 5 years on the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Board and Executive Committee.

Kinnear has been teaching World War II history at Lone Star College - Montgomery Campus for the past 6 years as a hobby and was voted Instructor of the Year for 2016.

Bob Kinnear is a member of Christ Church United Methodist in The Woodlands where he serves in various capacities including teaching. His wife is a Pastor with Covenant United Methodist Church. Together they have three children and four grandchildren.
